An approach to cultivating microbial sensibilities in biodesign

This study is about the early journey of my PhD trajectory. In the current biodesign practice, co-authors and I looked at how we can cultivate microbial sensibilities in designers during the process. As a result, we proposed "becoming" and explored the usability of immersive digital tools. This study was published as a research paper in DRS 2024.

This study had been conducted as a final individual project for the Master of Research in Design Pathway programme. It was an attempt to intervene in environmental issues as an extension of social problems to review the vulnerability of ecological sustainability faced on human society today by provoking a reconsideration of the mature relationship between humans and nature with a symbiotic design concept.

This publication deals with a study aimed at developing an art programme that can foster a sense of citizenship for high school students in South Korea. This study presents a high school art programme teaching-learning guidance plan to promote global citizenship based on the concept and importance of global citizenship education, the relationship of global citizenship education in art subjects, and the status of global citizenship education.
This was printed as the final result of the Methods of Writing in Art Education lecture at Hanyang University.
